About This Opportunity Launceston VFC Services are looking for Shop from a List volunteers who are reliable, friendly, and willing to assist our clients by doing their shopping and approved errands. Responsibilities Have good communication skills, be reliable, and trustworthy. Be able to follow instructions using a list that outlines our clients needs in relation to their shopping. Be confident in shopping in and around the local Launceston area. Be able to make regular stops and park safely in a small sized automatic vehicle. Be willing and able to assist clients mobility aids and possibly groceries/goods into their home. Your volunteer commitment can work with your availability during business hours through a rostering process. This role does not require any medical assistance from you to the client. Launceston VFC Services are an approved Voluntary Work Organisation, this volunteer role can assist in meeting your Mutual Obligation Requirement activity with Services Australia. Requirements National Police Certificate Working with Vulnerable People Check Driver''s Licence Additional Requirements An annual National Police Check is required, at no cost for our volunteers. Due to insurance requirements volunteers will need to be over 25 years of age, and no older than 80 years of age. This can be an ongoing role; at the frequency you are willing to commit to. Training Induction, buddy system, ongoing support. Reimbursements Required to use own personal vehicle for this role, eligible for fuel costs reimbursement.
