Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in completing corrective maintenance requirements where you''ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.What You''ll Do (key responsibilities)This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Participate and Deliver Range Services Daily BriefingsUse of Range CommunicationsWork in Remote LocationsWork with Target SystemsWork in Support of Army ExercisesWork in a small team environmentLifting and manual handlingUse Defence Computer or Paper Bases System to read and advise on customer booking enquiriesFacilitate movement onto and off the Range areaConduct Range maintenance as allocatedBe a member of the Fire Response TeamWhat You''ll Bring (experience required)Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)Intermediate literacy and computer skillsMust hold a current MR (or higher) Australian Drivers LicenceMust have or be capable of attaining a workplace first aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standardMust have or be capable of attaining current operator licences for all Range vehicles and equipmentMust have or be capable of attaining Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and SuppressionThe successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer servicePrevious experience working in the Defence environment highly regardedWhy Downer?At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
