Job Description

The Team Northern Tasmanian Pathology Service (NTPS) provides Pathology services to Launceston General Hospital and the Northern regions of Tasmania. We are the only public pathology service operating in North Tasmania. NTPS aims to deliver a highquality service to general practitioners, medical specialists and private hospitals, providing patients with no outofpocket expenses for Medicareeligible tests. The team at NTPS comprises a large team involving multidisciplinary scientists, technicians, nontechnical staff and Pathologists. The Role Working within a team environment, provide reception, clerical and data input services for the Pathology Department. Previous experience in handling stock inventory, reconciliation and receipt will be an advantage. Details of Appointments Multiple, fixedterm, dayworker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, from 17 November 2025 until 30 June 2026. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar fulltime, parttime, and casual vacancies. Salary $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Agreement (Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022). Salary Packaging Youll have access to a salary package range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
