Workforce Extensions Geelong is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to join the maintenance team at a leading food manufacturing facility in Colac. This is a permanent, full-time position on the afternoon (PM) shift, offering excellent pay and stability within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. About the Role As a key member of the maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment across the site. This handson role will see you working collaboratively with other trades to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine preventative maintenance and fault finding on plant and equipment Monitor, report, and troubleshoot equipment performance issues Complete electrical wiring, connections, and installations in line with AS/NZS 3000 standards Perform risk assessments and apply safe work practices in all tasks Assist in general mechanical or trade support as required Maintain accurate records and ensure workshop tidiness Participate in rostered overtime to support maintenance schedules Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you''ll need: Current Electrical Trade Qualification (A Grade License) Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Sound understanding of PLC systems, relay logic, and control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Excellent teamwork and communication skills Commitment to safety and compliance with WHS procedures What''s on Offer Competitive hourly rate: $49.90 - $55.40/hour (depending on experience) PM shift with rostered overtime available Stable, fulltime employment in a respected national operation Supportive and inclusive work culture If you''re a skilled Electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity with a marketleading company, we''d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
