As an Administration Officer within the Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of high-quality health services for the Inala Indigenous Health Service. Responsibilities Providing timely and accurate administrative support to clinical and operational teams. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and community members, managing appointments and inquiries efficiently. Coordinating correspondence, records, billing processes (Medicare and WorkCover), and maintaining accurate client documentation. Contributing to continuous quality improvement and ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. This is an identified vacancy with a genuine occupational requirement for the position to be filled by a candidate indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. Candidates not meeting this criteria will not be considered. About you We are seeking an organised and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes through excellence in administration. Ideal candidate will have Demonstrated experience or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of office procedures and administrative systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, and community stakeholders. Proficiency with computer systems and applications including Microsoft Office, Medicare, and WorkCover systems. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, managing competing priorities with professionalism and care.
