About the Role As the Assistant Greenkeeper, youll support the Course Manager in all aspects of turf and grounds management. Youll take pride in ensuring the course is presented to the highest standards for members, guests, and competitions and when needed, youll confidently step up to lead the team. Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor the groundstaff, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Assist with daily course setup mowing, aerifying, topdressing, cup placement, and marking. Monitor turf health, pest/disease issues, and apply turf care strategies. Oversee irrigation operations, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. Maintain accurate records of works, chemical use, and irrigation schedules. Act as Course Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. What Were Looking For Qualified: Certificate III or Diploma in Sports Turf Management. Leader: Strong supervisory skills and a team-first mindset. Communicator: Able to give clear instructions and liaise with management and members. Handson: Practical turf knowledge and mechanical awareness.
