Job Description As an Assistant Category Manager in the Premix & Spirits team, you will partner with the broader category team and contribute to the execution of the category strategy, with a key focus on maximising the portfolios commercial performance through a strong trade and customer plan. Youll build and manage supplier relationships end to end and will use your strong knowledge of the category and understanding of competitors, brands, consumer & shopper trends to create customercentric promotional strategies to drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities Drive commercial performance by executing strategic category initiatives and effective promotional strategies. Develop and manage endtoend promotional plans, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to deliver promotions that align with strategic category objectives. Support store teams to ensure worldclass promotional execution, addressing any issues and resolving queries promptly. Negotiate commercials with suppliers, including promotional and marketing funding. Leverage data and insights to review performance regularly with internal and external stakeholders. Plan and brief major category campaigns, including key supplierfunded activities. Apply analytical and customer insight skills to guide decisionmaking and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Now lets talk about you: Existing experience in buying (3+ years) as an Assistant Category Manager or similar. Proven experience planning a strong, customerfocused promotional program to maximise commercial performance. A track record in using customer insights and data to make strategic and commercial business decisions. Strong commercial acumen, including numerical and analytical skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Passion for and demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all levels. Ability to work crossfunctionally, under pressure, and thrive in a fastpaced environment. A customercentric attitude and a passion for the liquor industry. Benefits Flexible working in every sense.
