The Opportunity Were seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor / Weld Supervisor to join our Traralgon based Production team. In this multifaceted role, youll lead and coordinate all production and welding activities ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency remain at the forefront. Youll drive team culture, manage resources, and oversee fabrication, assembly, and dispatch operations to deliver outstanding project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production and welding operations across fabrication and assembly work Provide technical guidance, inspection, and supervision of welding processes in line with Australian Standards Promote a strong safety and quality culture, leading by example on the workshop floor Manage resource allocation, production scheduling, and asset utilisation Oversee QA documentation, including weld traceability and inspection records Support weld procedure qualification, welder competency assessment, and NDT coordination Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team Support the broader business through coordination and reporting About You Youre an experienced Production or Weld Supervisor with a background in fabrication or mechanical production and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Youre organised, safety-minded, and as comfortable on the tools as you are managing people and processes. You bring: 5+ years of leadership experience in a fabrication or production environment Recognised Weld Supervisor qualification (AS 1796 Certificate 10) Trade qualification or relevant tertiary background Strong communication and coordination skills with a focus on team culture Sound knowledge of Australian welding standards and QA systems Proficiency in MS Office and production tracking tools Proven ability to monitor and manage resource budgets A drive for continuous improvement and delivering quality outcomes Why Join Us?
