The Team Youll Join The Customer, Communication, and Engagement team is the voice and connection point of Toowoomba Regional Council. About the Position As a Stakeholder Engagement Officer, you will: Lead stakeholder engagement and communications across key Council projects from road upgrades and bridge builds to longterm strategic planning. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, community members, political representatives, and senior leadership. Develop and implement engagement strategies that are timely, inclusive, and effective. Act as a trusted advisor on communication best practice during planning and delivery phases. The annual salary range for this position is $94,918.74 - $98,910.82 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. Work/life balance with a 72.5 hour fortnight and the option to bank leave. This role has adhoc out of hours activities to support engagement activities within the community. A culture focused on safety, inclusion and respect. How to Succeed in this Role Relevant qualifications or experience in communication, humanities, or social science. Proven stakeholder engagement experience in civil construction or strategic planning. Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills. Confidence in working with senior leaders and elected officials. Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects. A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork.
