As a Compliance Assurance Officer, youll help ensure our regulatory and internal obligations are met by developing practical tools, supporting reviews and investigations, and promoting a culture of accountability and improvement across our operations. Youll help staff understand their responsibilities, support audits and investigations, and identify opportunities for better performance and understanding. The role focuses on environmental and forestry operations compliance under the Integrated Forestry Operations Approvals and the Plantations and Reafforestation Regulation, while also contributing to broader organisational compliance initiatives. We would love you to have/be: Youre organised, detailoriented, and skilled at making complex information practical and easy to understand. You can work both independently and collaboratively, and you enjoy helping others succeed by building strong relationships and sharing your knowledge. Youll bring: Experience in compliance, environmental management, forestry operations, auditing, project management or risk management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and create clear procedures or training materials. Proven organisational skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. A current drivers licence and willingness to travel across NSW.
