Sales rep / Territory Manager Global Equipment OEM 50 Years in manufacturing machinery, truck and earthmoving equipment, this business operation started in the industry as oneman band and has offices throughout all of Australia. They supply new and aftermarket equipment throughout all of Australia and strive to have excellent relationships with customers, going above and beyond for all first buyers. Target Industries Trades and sole contractors Major earthmoving fleets Hire companies Local councils How the role works Step 1 When you see an excavator on the back of a truck, flag down the driver and ask what attachments he is using. If you see an operator digging a trench, stop and talk to him. This is all about building relationships and winning them over by selling the brand of attachments while making quick, easy sales. You will be talking to anyone and everyone that uses earthmoving machinery. How the role works Step 2 There are many large civil contractors throughout Melbourne; you will be tasked to maximize this market, get out in front of customers and drive new equipment throughout the market. You will call on companies like Delta Rent, Multiplex, CPB, Multiworks, Entracon, Delcon, Vic Civil, Maxcon, and target large earthmoving companies such as Hitachi, Williams Adams, Komatsu, CJD, Porter Equipment, Tutts and many more. The customer portfolio for this role is massive and the opportunity to make exceptional commissions is fantastic. The Ideal Candidate If you have been selling trucks, earthmoving equipment, tractors, buses, container handlers, or anything related to machinery, we want to talk to you. You must have external sales experience and the ability to coldcall new customers and win relationships through facetoface introductions. You must be willing to travel throughout all of Victoria. Proven salesman who enjoys winning new relationships and has excellent customerservice skills. Positive attitude, team player, and enjoys taking clients out for dinner. Salary Package In this role its all about progression; the starting package is the base, and if you perform well, the package will increase quickly.
