Become a Key Member of Marian''s Maintenance Team! Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the Marian Mill factory maintenance team, providing leadership and direction to a dedicated team of maintenance personnel to ensure the physical integrity and operational efficiency of the plant through effective and safe management of maintenance resources, capital improvements and asset management / care. Were looking for individuals who: Bring a positive mindset and enjoy working as part of a team Are driven by curiosity, continuous improvement, and making a meaningful impact Prioritise safety and demonstrate a strong commitment to the health and wellbeing of their colleagues As a Minimum Have substantial demonstrated experience in successfully leading teams in meeting measurable outcomes within the Sugar Milling and/or Heavy Industrial environments Hold Tertiary or Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Trade, Engineering or related discipline Minimum of 5 years experience and knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance execution Computer literacy in Microsoft Applications You will be a person that is comfortable with working in a continuous improvement environment and be able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities including: An ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal skills; An ability to work with, mentor, coach and develop employees; Be able to undertake effective problem solving; Have a high level of attention to detail; Have the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver information with a high level of accuracy Why Join Mackay Sugar?
