About The Opportunity Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting patient care? The Vascular Diagnostic Service at Liverpool Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Admin Officer Level 2 to play a vital role in our dynamic team. In this fast-paced environment, you''ll be the friendly face and organised mind behind appointment scheduling, patient liaison, and medical record management. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clinicians, patients, and staff will help ensure smooth operations and a high standard of service delivery. What Youll Be Doing Provide quality front-line customer service to all patients, referring clinicians, hospital staff and visitors associated with the Vascular Diagnostic Service (VDS) in a welcoming and professional manner. Provide all aspects of administrative support to the Vascular Diagnostic Service and the multidisciplinary team members. Where Youll Be Working Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds. The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation. How To Apply Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating excellent telephone manner and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomes. Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver efficient, effective, and friendly customer service. Demonstrated experience in successfully working independently and as a member of a team demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and flexibility. Demonstrated computer literacy in MS Office. Desirable knowledge of Cerner (eMR/Powerchart), RIS/PACS and ability to learn new systems. Desirable completion of medical terminology certificate. Desirable recent experience working in a similar role and/or hospital experience.
