About the role: This is a dynamic, phone-based contact centre role, supporting customers through the home insurance claims journey. Key responsibilities include: Commencement on Monday 1st December 2025 and is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating roster between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Saturday shifts are only required once every 45 weeks, and you''ll receive a rostered day off in return. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at the Sunshine Coast on Friday 7th November. Youll manage a high volume of inbound calls, helping customers lodge and progress home insurance claims while offering empathetic support and regular updates. You will assess claims, review reports, coordinate repairs, maintain detailed records, and resolve customer issues with care. Youll work closely with internal teams and suppliers, contribute to team goals, meet individual KPIs, and help deliver a smooth, customer-focused claims experience. About you: Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and provide empathetic support. High resilience and emotional intelligence, particularly when assisting customers who may be distressed. A proactive mindset with the ability to follow structured processes and use sound judgement. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly navigate multiple systems and platforms. A high level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism, especially when handling sensitive information. Availability to work full-time hours and commit to the full training period without planned leave.
