Situated in the City of Rockingham, approximately 47 kilometres south of Perth, Rockingham Beach Education Support Centre provides highly individualised programs for Kindergarten to Year 6 students with diagnosed disabilities. These programs are created by our experienced education support teachers in consultation with parents, therapists, and other relevant agencies. Our highly qualified specialist teachers and education assistants provide a high level of support and intervention to ensure to meet the diverse needs of all students. As School Officer you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing a wide variety of administrative duties. You will be responsible for supporting the Manager Corporate Services in administering the schools marketing, financial, physical and human resources whilst upholding confidentiality and security of sensitive material. You will provide assistance to other members of the school administration team with maintaining school databases, records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Knowledge of student enrolment processes and the ability to operate a range of Department of Education software packages including use of RM Finance, RM Billing, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and Compass School Management System would be highly desirable. Media and marketing experience in a school environment would be beneficial to this position including the use of website software. The suitable applicants should also exhibit a focus on team work, self-motivation and model effective customer and administrative support. You will ideally possess strong attention to details, highly effective organisational skills and be able to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a sometimes challenging and fast paced environment.
