Youll shape how design influences everything at Blinq with a strong focus on mobilefirst design. This is a leadership role for someone who blends creative vision with operational excellence a designer who can elevate user experience, champion design systems, and empower a team of talented product and visual designers. What You''ll Do Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary team of product and mobile designers Define and drive the design vision across Blinqs app, web, and platform experiences Champion mobilefirst principles ensuring design decisions optimize for usability, performance, and delight on iOS and Android Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand to shape strategy and align on goals Oversee the evolution of Blinqs Design System ensuring consistency across mobile and web Foster a culture of research, experimentation, and user empathy across teams Present design strategy and rationale to leadership, balancing innovation with business needs Drive measurable improvements to user engagement, retention, and overall experience quality. What You''ll Bring 8+ years of experience in Product Design, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role A strong portfolio showcasing mobile design leadership shipping consumerfacing apps at scale (ideally on iOS and Android) Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and design operations Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach Comfort navigating fastpaced environments and scaling teams in growthstage companies Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Notion, Miro, etc.) What You Get Equity & ownership: Were building something massive, and we want you to share in the upside.
