We look to employ a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Civil Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our civil construction projects, working with both government sectors and private developers. Conduct comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects. Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements. Identify and quantify project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment. Perform quantity take-offs and review client provided bills of quantities. Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and competitive bids. Prepare detailed methodologies and construction schedules. Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of work completed by others during the tendering process. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to maintain competitive pricing. Request and review subcontractor quotes, negotiating pricing agreements when necessary. Ensure all submissions meet high standards and comply with tender criteria. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior estimators and engineers. Develop and refine estimation methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Improve systems and procedures for better workflow in estimation and tendering. Maintain strong communication with the team. Manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines for tenders, reports, and cost estimates. Requirements Minimum of Three years of experience as a Estimator in the civil construction industry. Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and cost estimation. Familiarity with government sector projects. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Relevant degree or certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
