Electrical Engineering Technician / Assistance Amps Hub Pty Ltd T/A Advanced Solar & Batteries is a growing renewable energy solutions company dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable power systems across Victoria and beyond. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineering Technician to join our growing team in Wonthaggi. This role plays a vital part in supporting the design, testing, and commissioning of our renewable energy systems. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical work, solar experience will get an additive advantage. Selforganising skills, able to work flexible hours and willing to travel for projects. Adaptable, a team player and coachable with a positive attitude. Elite attitude and effective communication skills. Conscientious of quality and ensure the health and safety of the working environment. Project management skills and a few experience will have an additional advantage. Tasks & responsibilities Oversee our inhouse delivery teams, approved subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry. Assist Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems. Collect data, perform tests and complex calculations, graph results, and prepare charts and tabulations. Work on Solar Power Design tools like Pylon, Open Solar and CAD to design Solar projects as per requirement. Assist an AGrade Electrician in processes, administrative and daytoday activities in solar installations and electrical work. Manage project coordination, supporting the execution of multiple contracted projects from contract to completion and coordination of new projects under development. Provide technical and problemsolving guidance, including best practices, installation methods and commissioning assistance to installation crews. Ensure documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are delivered inline with approved design and budgets.
