Apprentice Greenkeeper C.ex Urunga Golf Club Get hands-on experience and learn every part of the job! Do you love working outdoors, enjoy sport, and want to learn a trade that keeps you active and involved in your community? C.ex Urunga Golf Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our small, dedicated team. You may be looking to start a career or continue as a 2nd year apprentice. Our club features a picturesque 9-hole golf course and croquet lawn. Because were a small team, youll have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of course and turf management from mowing and irrigation to renovations and equipment maintenance. No two days are the same, and youll quickly build a wide range of practical skills. What Youll Learn And Do Maintain and prepare the golf course and croquet lawn to a high standard Operate, service, and care for turf maintenance machinery Assist with irrigation, fertilising, and pest managementHelp with course setup, turf renovation, and improvement projects Gain a thorough, handson understanding of sports turf management What Were Looking For A genuine interest in outdoor, handson work Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work Enjoys being part of a small, friendly team Current drivers licence (or working towards one) manual preferred What We Offer A fulltime apprenticeship leading to a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management Onthejob mentoring from experienced staff Support for your TAFE studies Variety in your day youll get to do a bit of everything A friendly and supportive community club environment Stable employment with a large Club Group, in a welcoming regional town Integrity, Respect, Precision, Adventurous, Commercial & Considered, Conviction, United Experience is not necessary as we provide the training and resources for our team members to excel.
