Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and qualified Solid Plasterer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will apply solid plaster, cement render, and protective coatings to interior and exterior walls and ceilings to achieve high-quality finishes that meet Australian standards. Key Responsibilities Apply solid plaster, cement render, acrylic texture coatings, and other protective finishes to walls and ceilings. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and levelling before application. Mix and apply plastering compounds using manual and spray methods. Install mouldings and ornamental plaster work as required. Read and interpret drawings and plans to ensure accuracy of work. Operate plastering tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working order. Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule. Follow occupational health and safety procedures on site at all times. Skills and Experience Required Minimum of 34 years of relevant experience as a Solid Plasterer or Renderer. Proven ability to apply cement and acrylic renders to a high standard. Strong knowledge of materials, mixing ratios, and finishing techniques. Good physical fitness and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret plans and follow technical instructions. Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork. Qualifications Trade certificate in Solid Plastering (or equivalent experience). White Card (Construction Induction Training) preferred. Drivers licence advantageous. Salary and Conditions The salary for this position ranges from $73,150 to $80,000 per annum (excluding superannuation) , depending on experience and qualifications. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with standard working hours of 7 to 8 hours per day, five days a week . Additional hours may be required based on project needs, and all employment conditions will comply with the Building and Construction General On-site Award and relevant Australian workplace laws.
