Were looking for reliable and motivated Bin Maintenance/Truck Drivers to join our Team. What Youll Do In this role, youll help keep our community clean and well-presented by delivering efficient bin maintenance services and responding to public enquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Your day-to-day work will include: Operating trucks and other Council equipment Servicing and emptying street litter and recycling bins Sweeping and trimming footpaths Assisting with amenities cleaning and other public space maintenance Safely/respectfully collecting and disposing of deceased animals from Council-managed areas, as required. What Were Looking For Current MR Drivers Licence Ability to perform a variety of cleansing and maintenance tasks Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision Competence in routine vehicle servicing and safety checks, with timely reporting of any issues Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills (Year 10 level or equivalent) A team player with a customer-focused approach Commitment to workplace safety, environmental care, quality standards, equal opportunity, and open communication If you take pride in your work and want to contribute to the smooth running and presentation of your community, wed love to hear from you.
