Location: Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic CentreEmployment status: CasualClassification: DKHAC Level 1Salary range: $38.08 per hour (age of 18 years+ rate), inclusive of 20% of casual loading + 13.5% superannuation. About the role In this position, your vibrant and dynamic approach will shine through as you provide outstanding service to our visitors at the Centre and Caf. Embrace the opportunity to create memorable experiences for every guest with your enthusiastic and cando spirit. Role accountabilities include: Food Preparation and barista duties. Accurate cash handling and reconciliation. Promoting and providing quality customer service at all times. Ensuring that members and guests have access to prompt, professional and quality service. Maintaining a professional retail area. About you Do you love coffee, sandwiches, and people? Do you have a flair for customer service and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our caf attendant role. We are looking for casual people to join our team who fulfil the below criteria: You will have completed Year 10 or hold a relevant Certificate level qualification. You must hold or be able to obtain a Registration to Work with Vulnerable People. You are energetic and confident. You are passionate about customer service. You have an enthusiastic approach, willingness to learn and seek innovative solutions when faced with challenges. Whilst experience is preferred, we welcome applications from people who love working in a fun, teambased environment and who are ready to seek new knowledge. We would ideally love it if you were available for up to 7 days to cover our existing shifts, however also understand that sometimes life just happens. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, and we would also work with you for when you need your days off.
