Job title: ChefLocation: Stanwell TopsPay: $65k negotiable based on experienceAvailability: It is ideal that you are available ASAP for a trial shift for the Indochinese restaurant that would like to move quickly for the right applicant.Job Summary:We are seeking a talented and passionate Indo-Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience preparing authentic and innovative Indo-Chinese dishes, with a strong understanding of both Indian and Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors. For the right applicant Visa sponsorship would be availableKey Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Indo-Chinese dishes such as Manchurian, Hakka noodles, Schezwan fried rice, chilli paneer/chicken, spring rolls, etc.Develop new recipes and refine existing dishes to maintain high standards of quality and taste.Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner in line with restaurant standards.Maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations.Manage inventory, order ingredients, and minimize food waste.Coordinate with kitchen staff and assist in training junior cooks.Stay updated on current food trends and customer preferences.Requirements:Must have full work rights in AustraliaProven experience as an Indo-Chinese chef in a busy restaurant or hotel.In-depth knowledge of ingredients, spices, sauces, and cooking techniques used in Indo-Chinese cuisine.Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Food Safety Supervisor FSS Certificate or willing to obtain one.Preferred Qualities:Creativity and passion for food presentation.Ability to cater to different spice preferences and dietary restrictions.Willingness to adapt and innovate while maintaining authenticity.Apply For This JobName *Email *Phone *Would you require sponsorship in the future for this role? * #J-18808-Ljbffr
