About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the colleges marketing and communications initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that enhance Bentley Colleges brand presence and student recruitment both domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Marketing Planning Develop and implement annual marketing strategies aligned with TAFE goals Analyse market trends, student demand, and competitor activity Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns for key courses Identify new market opportunities, student segments, and growth areas 2. Brand & Content Management Oversee TAFE brand messaging, tone, and visual identity Approve marketing content including brochures, flyers, website updates, and digital ads Ensure all marketing materials comply with TAFE/NSW Gov branding guidelines Manage storytelling content such as student success stories and case studies 3. Digital Marketing & Social Media Lead digital marketing strategy (SEO, SEM, paid social, EDMs) Oversee content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok Monitor engagement, analytics, and optimise campaigns based on performance Implement CRM-driven marketing automation to improve conversion rates 4. Student Recruitment & Lead Conversion Drive student recruitment targets and manage lead pipelines Oversee enquiry handling, follow-up systems, and lead-nurturing workflows Work closely with admissions to improve enrolment conversion Track recruitment KPIs and implement improvements as needed 5. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, industry partners Coordinate with internal departments such as training teams, student services, and compliance Represent TAFE at external events, education expos, and industry meetings Support international recruitment agents (if applicable) 6. Event Management Lead planning and execution of open days, orientation events, workshops, and outreach activities Coordinate logistics, promotion, and post-event reporting Ensure consistent branding and engagement at all events 7. Budget & Team Management Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources, and track spending Supervise and mentor marketing staff and interns Work with external vendors (designers, agencies, photographers) Evaluate campaign ROI and present findings to leadership 8. Reporting & Analytics Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports Track KPIs such as leads, enrolments, website traffic, and campaign results Use data insights to guide strategy adjustments and decision-making Report directly to senior leadership or campus management Skills and Experience Bachelors degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline. Minimum of 35 years experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the education or professional services sector. Proven experience in digital marketing, campaign management, and brand development. Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
