Council is seeking a motivated individual to join our Sportsfield team where they will learn from experts and work towards earning a free Cert III in Sports Turf Management, paid by Council. In This Role You Will Support with the maintenance of Councils sports grounds to ensure they are safe and suitable for sports use. Assist with general gardening, tree maintenance, weed control, and landscaping to enhance and maintain community spaces. Contribute to the look and feel of our sportsfields that are the former home for the Canberra Raiders and now the home of the Queanbeyan Blues and Queanbeyan Kangaroos. We Are Looking For Someone Who Is eligible for enrolment and ongoing study requirements to complete a Cert III in Sports Turf Management. Has strong communication and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Can work independently and as a part of a team.
