Trojan Recruitment is currently recruiting for Wharf Labourers at Port Adelaide. These roles will have you working for a major integrated port solutions provider in Australia. These roles involve repetitive work and shift work. About the role Trojan are looking for individuals seeking on-call shift work. Duties for these positions will include but not limited to; These Operations specialise in loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes and other general duties. Commodities handling, loading and unloading Lashing and unlashing chains off transport trucks and materials Shipboard and general wharf labouring duties Packing and unpacking of containers, and other general duties Performing maintenance and housekeeping tasks as directed The successful applicants will need to be prepared to work an irregular shift pattern in a 24/7 roster. Essential skills & experience Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution Good general fitness, and ability to perform repetitive and physical work safely Flexible and available to work day & night shifts, as well as shifts at short notice Drivers License required Candidates with an MSIC card or willing to obtain, Forklift License and other HRW tickets are highly regarded.
