About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Cook to join our aged care facilities in Colac (Mercy Place Colac, 99 Queen St, Colac VIC 3250) and Rosebud (Mercy Place Rosbud, 14 Cairns Ave, Rosebud VIC 3939). You will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, highquality meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in accordance with aged care dietary requirements, menu plans, and resident preferences. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety standards. Ensure special diets (texturemodified, diabetic, allergenfree) are accurately prepared and served. Store food in temperaturecontrolled facilities. Collaborate with dietitians and facility staff to ensure meal quality and compliance with care plans. Supervise and mentor kitchen assistants or food service staff when required. Participate in stock ordering, rotation, menu planning and waste management. To thrive in this role, you will have: Relevant qualification as a Cook (Minimum requirement, Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery) Significant experience in commercial cooking.
