Requirements Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Role Details Lola Cocina Parramatta is recruiting for a Chef to manage our fastpaced kitchen, oversee food preparation, maintain quality and presentation, and supervise kitchen staff. This is a fulltime position based in Parramatta, NSW with a salary range of $78K to $85K plus superannuation. You should ideally have a Diploma plus Certificate IV in Cookery, or at least 3 years of proven industry experience. At least 1 year of experience will be highly regarded. You should demonstrate sound culinary knowledge, leadership skills and problemsolving skills in a fastpaced kitchen environment. Key Duties Cook food orders as per patrons preferences and dietary requirements Oversee the kitchen team providing direction on food preparation and presentation, and quality of the dishes Trial new formations and combinations to inspire and attract patrons to the Spanish cuisine Select choice ingredients to optimise flavours, aroma and nutritive value Regulate food quantity orders, oversee stock levels and minimise wastage Maintain knowledge of Spanish cooking trends and latest industry concepts to create menu variations for competitive edge Provide delightful dishes that ensure a best dining experience for patrons Receive feedback and suggestions, and resolve complaints if any Direct and oversee best practices and hygiene compliance in the kitchen Educate and mentor junior cooking staff and kitchen staff Personnel management, rosters and leave planning and staff performance reviews Recruitment Policy This role is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents as well as overseas professionals with appropriate skills and English language competency.
