Art Making & Exhibiting / Visual Arts Teacher (7-12) The St Michaels Visual Arts Faculty is excited to be looking for a creative and energetic educator to join our teaching team in the Senior School. As a full-time Visual Arts Teacher, you will enjoy an attractive teaching load across Years 7 to 12, along with the opportunity to engage in our renowned pastoral care and wellbeing program as a House Tutor. We are particularly interested in teachers with experience and expertise in Photography and / or Ceramics, with proven capability to teach Art Making & Exhibiting at VCE level. Key Responsibilities Deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in Visual Arts classes across Years 712, including mixed-ability classes Support student wellbeing through active participation in the Schools pastoral care programs Contribute to the Schools co-curricular offerings in accordance with the roles time fraction Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching, learning and caring What Were Looking For Tertiary qualifications in teaching (primary) and relevant methods Understanding of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project (highly regarded) Current registration with theVictorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Anaphylaxis Management, Level II First Aid Certificate and CPR Why Join St Michaels Grammar School?
