The Learning Nook Early Education and Child Care is seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teachers and Lead Educators to join our team. Essential Requirements EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER (ECT) - An applicant who holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or is working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching for our ECT position. LEAD EDUCATORS - Diploma Qualified or working towards a Diploma. Experience in an early childhood education setting is highly valued, as it helps us build a strong foundation for our program. We encourage candidates who can inspire, motivate, and foster a positive learning environment for children, their families, and colleagues. Strong skills and a proactive approach are essential for contributing effectively to our team. Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) will enhance your ability to implement best practices. A solid understanding of relevant legislative policies, standards, and requirements is important for maintaining compliance and creating a safe environment. Awareness of the cultural needs of families is crucial for promoting inclusivity and respect within our community. A current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in our care. You will need a current Working With Children Check to be part of our team. Lastly, embracing a mature and positive attitude when working in a team environment will greatly contribute to our success and harmony.
