About Matsos Sunshine Coast Matsos has always been a little different, but were proud of that. Inspired by our original, our second home taps into the heritage of an old Queensland pub with a newly renovated building in the back, bringing a large indoor and outdoor space made for the family or for a late arvo Ginger Beer on ice. Description Responsible for cleaning, sanitising and maintaining all food and beverage operating equipment as well as setting up and cleaning of the equipment during food service. Assisting chefs with food preparation when required. Key Responsibilities Washing & Sanitizing Kitchen Cleanliness Waste Management Equipment Maintenance Support for Kitchen Staff Organise and properly store all equipment. Skills and Experiences Skills Cross functional agility and can easily work with other departments to influence outcomes. Proven ability to motivate and inspire people at all levels to build a high achieving team. Ability to adapt to busy and changing environment. Knowledge Qualifications in food safety management and commercial cookery qualifications. A broad and in-depth understanding of hospitality including local and industry trends, key suppliers, and customers. Experience At least 1 year experience in the hospitality industry.
