ABOUT THE ROLE This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a fast growing technical services team, where you will spend your day working across very unique electrical sites, as a Transformer Technician. Working on customer sites and projects that make a real difference, your daytoday role will see you become the face of Ampcontrol, working directly on customer sites across generation, transmission, renewables and mining industries. As part of Ampcontrols continued growth, we are seeking selfmotivated and handson Power Transformer Trades & Technician to join our NSW High Voltage Field Service operation based in Hexham, NSW. You will play a pivotal role within a crew of dedicated Transformer Specialists, undertaking sitebased refurbishment, maintenance, installation, repair and testing on significant power transformers around Australia. Significant experience working with transformers (variety of sizes up to 600MVA 500kV) Experience with transformer oil filtration (desirable but not essential) Report preparation Current unrestricted drivers license EDUCATION / TRAINING Required: Trade qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical or Fitter License) Drivers license Construction induction (White Card) Advantageous: HR or MR truck licence EWP Working safely at heights Think you know Ampcontrol?
