About the role Reporting to the Technical Officer, the role will fill a vacancy in the Quality Department. Tasks include calibrating, operating, monitoring and servicing inline testing devices and standalone units. The role works Monday to Friday on a 38hour week roster. Key responsibilities Fonterra and Regulatory Standards Health Safety & Wellbeing Food Safety & Product Quality (FSQ) Compliance with SOPs Environmental swabbing with adherence to the Pathogen Management Program Water sampling and AMRA & ATP testing Sample collection for Milk, Cheese, Powder, Ricotta, Whey Liquids, Concentrate and byproducts Clearing of incoming goods GMP and Glass and Hard Plastic auditing Completing downgrade reports Product clearance, allocation and respecification Retrieve results from BVAQ, SAP and distribute information About you We are looking for individuals who have prior experience within a food manufacturing environment and a passion for quality. This role suits a strong and effective communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills, and: Good understanding of food safety principles, and quality control methods and processes Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organisation. Detailoriented mindset with good analytical abilities Ability to work within a team.
