What We Offer A dynamic team to support your growth within allied health and working with special needs children Full administration support Contractual hours as arranged Professional Development Support Flexible working arrangements for the right candidate whether that be school hours or part time Mental Health Clinician (12-month parental leave) with possibility of permanency The Role As a mental health clinician, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, including developmental histories, and develop intervention plans. Youll collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., family, school, community) to create tailored mental health strategies for children. Ongoing professional development and supervision are supported as part of the organisations learning-focused culture. Provides high quality specialised mental health services for children and adolescents Conducts mental health assessment (including home and community based), intervention, management planning and evaluation Provides evidence based individual and group treatment interventions for clients with complex problems and their families Analyses client needs to provide individual, group and team interventions and the development of treatment programs using culturally appropriate and evidence-based practice Implements safe and ethical evidence-based therapies Engages in multidisciplinary discussions to ensure best practice and quality intervention planning Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team Participates in ongoing evaluation of clinical practice Maintains own calendar and client database Maintains client information in accordance with organisational, professional and the National Disability Insurance Scheme requirements Employment Criteria Current membership with AHPRA and other relevant professional body as a Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker Registration with Medicare to provide services under the Better Health initiative Selfmotivated and adaptable to the needs of each client, as well as the team. Passionate about supporting and empowering families in regional WA. Knowledgeable of and committed to family centred practice. Able to provide quality written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
