Job Overview Workfast is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join our clients precast manufacturing operations team in Queanbeyan. Youll be responsible for conducting pre-pour and post-pour inspections, verifying compliance with design and technical specifications, managing quality control systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Salary Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per annum + Superannuation Hours Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Location Location: Queanbeyan, NSW What You Get Competitive salary package (up to $100,000 + Super) Permanent fulltime position with immediate start Monday to Friday role based in Queanbeyan, NSW Work with an industry leader in precast concrete manufacturing Supportive, safetyfocused team environment Opportunities for career growth, training, and professional development What You Need Minimum 35 years experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within manufacturing or similar environment Strong understanding of HSEQ principles and compliance standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ITPs, and specifications Experience conducting inspections, audits, and nonconformance management Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HSEQ software (e.g. Skytrust) advantageous Diploma qualification in Quality or a related discipline Auditing qualifications or willingness to obtain Excellent communication, organisational, and problemsolving skills Current, unrestricted Drivers Licence and full Australian working rights Ability to pass a preemployment medical and drug & alcohol test What You Will Be Doing Conducting prepour and postpour inspections to ensure product compliance and quality Checking reinforcement steel, embedded items, and concrete mix design Recording and verifying asbuilt data and ensuring accurate labelling of approved products Raising and managing nonconformance reports (NCRs) and assisting with root cause analysis Monitoring quality control systems and assisting with internal/external audits Supporting production teams to ensure quality objectives and corrective actions are achieved Maintaining QA documentation and assisting with reporting and performance analysis Actively promoting safe work practices and participating in WHS and environmental initiatives Contributing to ongoing operational and process improvements About Us Workfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australias largest and leading building companies.
