About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our team based out of our Youngtown depot working across Tasmania. In this handson role, youll carry out maintenance, construction, inspection, and testing of electrical substations and equipment either connected to the Electricity Distribution Network or intended to be connected to the Electricity Distribution Network to ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of power across the network. Key Responsibilities Effective operation of plant and equipment associated with the above duties, including maintenance and reporting any defects or necessary repairs Assist with faults and investigations, and writing or assisting with the preparation of reports following faults investigations Completing the above to correct industry standards with observance to the Safety Act, PSSR Guidelines, Network Installation Regulations, and OH&S guidelines About You Competent in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels across the business internally and externally TAS A Grade Electrical Licence Current Drivers Licence (MR/HR desirable) White/Blue Card (OHS Construction Induction Card) High Risk Work Licence EWP (desirable) Why you should work for us What we do matters.
