The Centre provides retreat programs, spiritual formation experiences, and community gatherings in a serene and inclusive environment. The Spirituality Centre Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring guests experience a warm, welcoming, and wellorganised environment at the Centre. This position is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the facility, including hospitality, administration, event support, and guest relations. The Host fosters an atmosphere of care, professionalism and hospitality aligned with the mission and values of the Spirituality Ministry. Responsibilities Guest Relations & Hospitality Welcome and support guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience. Maintain high standards of presentation in all areas of the Centre. Oversee the setup of catering, meetings and events. Manage guest enquiries, bookings and feedback. Supervise Centre staff, volunteers and contractors. Coordinate housekeeping, catering and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with WHS and Safeguarding standards. Monitor booking systems and maintain accurate records. Centre Operations Supervise Centre staff, volunteers and contractors. Coordinate housekeeping, catering and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with WHS and Safeguarding standards. Monitor booking systems and maintain accurate records. Administration Prepare quotes, manage invoices and maintain documentation. Support the Regional Manager with reports and correspondence. Manage staff rosters, attendance and timesheets. Marketing & Communications Promote the Centres programs and services to the community. Build relationships with schools, parishes and local organisations. Represent the Centre at meetings and community events. Ethos & Team Culture Uphold the values and mission of the Spirituality Ministry. Foster a spirit of hospitality, teamwork and mutual respect. Contribute to continuous improvement and quality service delivery. Your Profile Essential Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in administration, hospitality or event coordination. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking systems (e.g., RMS). Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Experience supervising staff and volunteers. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed. Desirable Experience working in a not-for-profit, religious or community organisation. Knowledge of retreat or hospitality operations. Personal Attributes Warm, approachable and professional manner. Commitment to service excellence and teamwork.
