MSM Milling is Australias leading familyowned integrated oilseed crushing, refining, packing, and feed milling facility, based in Manildra, in the heart of the NSW canolagrowing region. We are embarking on a significant period of growth and expansion at our Manildra site and are seeking an experienced Senior Feedmill Operator to join our team. About the Role Reporting to the Feedmill Operations Manager, the Senior Feedmill Operator is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and highquality production of animal feed. This role acts as a senior operator/leadhand, ensuring that all production, maintenance, quality control, inventory, and housekeeping functions are carried out to company standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet feed order requirements, ensuring optimal utilisation of equipment and minimal downtime. Operate, monitor, and adjust milling, grinding, batching, pelleting, mixing, bagging, bulk loading/unloading, and other feed mill equipment. Conduct regular quality checks, including weight, pellet durability, and moisture content testing. Support and mentor operators to maintain bestpractice operational standards. Liaise with logistics and maintenance teams to coordinate materials and equipment servicing. Maintain a clean, safe, and wellorganised work environment in line with company protocols. Participate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous operational improvements. Key Qualifications & Skills Feedmilling or related experience: Proven experience in feedmilling or similar bulk material processing operations. Mechanical/electrical aptitude: Ability to operate industrial milling equipment, recognise mechanical faults, perform basic maintenance, and effectively liaise with maintenance staff. Quality and safety focused: Knowledge of feed manufacturing quality standards, safety regulations (e.g. lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, dust control), and good manufacturing/hygiene practices.
