ADD VALUE - THE ROLE The Coordinator Recreation and Facilities is responsible for leading the planning, development, and management of Councils recreation, open space, and facility services. The role provides strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure Singletons parks, sporting facilities, and open spaces are safe, sustainable, and meet community needs. Working collaboratively across Council and with key stakeholders, the position plays a pivotal role in delivering highquality recreational outcomes that enhance the liveability of the Singleton Local Government Area. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic and operational planning of recreation, open space, and facility services. Provide input into the preparation of Councils Capital Works Programme and longterm financial budgets. Manage budgets, contracts, and Service Level Agreements to support effective and efficient service delivery. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff within the Recreation and Facilities team. Drive continuous improvement through quality management, performance evaluation, and best practice initiatives. Ensure compliance with Councils Work Health and Safety and environmental policies. Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups, sporting organisations, and other stakeholders. Essential to this role is a tertiary degree qualification in parks management, facilities management, recreation planning or other relevant discipline combined with demonstrated experience in the implementation and delivery of recreation or facilities management programs and complemented by planning and policy development experience. In this role you will be required to have welldeveloped stakeholder consultation and engagement skills with demonstrated ability to create, lead and manage a small highperforming team. This position is offered on a term contract, fulltime basis working 35 hours per week, for 12 months from commencement. Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 15 of Council''s Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of TRP of $161,804 - $179,464 per annum consisting of a base salary of $122,028 - $137,262, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance, Motor Vehicle allowance of $18,168.97 and 12% superannuation.
