School Crossing Supervisor Northbourne Public School (Part Time) Transport for NSW Organisation / Entity: Transport for NSW Job category: Safety Job location: Marsden Park, NSW, AU, 2765 Job reference number: 102075 Employment type: Permanent Part-Time Salary: $26.43 per hour (plus superannuation) Schedule: School zone hours 8:009:00AM and 2:303:30PM, Monday to Friday (1hour morning + 1hour afternoon, 20hours per fortnight) Role Summary: Youll become a Road Safety Hero respected in the community, ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists and becoming a familiar, muchloved face around the school. Responsibilities: Supervise school crossings during the designated school zone hours. Maintain a visible and reassuring presence to keep children, parents, teachers and local motorists safe. Inspect and monitor crossing points for safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with school staff, parents and motorists and respond promptly to any safety concerns. Cooperate with Transport for NSW safety teams to deliver impactful safety outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum age 18 at the time of appointment. Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Check, Police Check, and Health Assessment. Reliable, able to work in all weather conditions. Good communication and observational skills. Previous experience with children or community safety is an advantage. Benefits: Hourly rate with superannuation.
