An exciting opportunity exists to join the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) Nutrition & Dietetics Department in the role of Nutrition & Dietetics Unit Head Wollongong Hospital. We are seeking a Dietitian with experience in the operational management of a clinical dietetic unit and with extensive recent and relevant clinical experience to lead a team of Dietitians in a tertiary referral hospital. The position reports to the ISLHD Director of Nutrition & Dietetics and works closely with the ISLHD Nutrition & Dietetics management & leadership team to deliver high quality clinical dietetic services. Wollongong Hospital , located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhavens major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services. Wollongong is located an hours drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.
