The nature of work in the region is wide and varied and covers the Nature Conservation, Parks and Visitor Services and Environmental Regulation areas. For most employees the management of fire is also a component of their jobs, particularly during summer. We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. Provides administrative, financial and customer services support in relation to the daily running of the Pilbara regional office. Maintains office systems and procedures, administration work programs, filing, banking, wages and salary allocations and assists regional staff in administrative matters. Supports the region''s Joint Management arrangement and aspirations of the Traditional Owners. Selection Criteria Experience in office procedures, records management and administrative functions Experience in the use of and application of personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheet packages. Experience in financial management including working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable, financial systems and understanding of a general ledger system.
