The Role As a Payroll Officer and Employment Administrator, you will manage all aspects of payroll while also taking on key HR responsibilities. You will work directly with key stakeholders, such as Head Chefs, Venue Managers and the group Operations Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting our team''s HR needs to foster a great workplace environment. Key Responsibilities End-to-end payroll processing across 7 different venues, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, relevant Awards and reporting requirements. Managing staff payroll queries and resolving them promptly. Manage employee lifecycle, working with management teams on all aspects. From employment commencement, to termination processes, including exit surveys, onboarding and recruitment for critical roles. Provide analytical payroll reporting for the operations team. Maintain payroll related accounts through MYOB, such as payroll related journaling and on charging. Preparing superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG reporting and assisting with reconciliations and annual reporting. Maintaining up-to-date HR resources ensuring we remain compliant in all aspects, from job descriptions to employment policies. Assisting with employee relations, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement. Managing WorkCover premiums and claims. Work directly with immigration lawyer, managing visa sponsorship and immigration procedures. What YouLL Need to Succeed Proven experience in both payroll and employment administrator in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience with FoundU payroll platform or similar system is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and HR best practices. Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HR systems. A great attitude and a passion for delivering accurate and timely results.
