This role will be the main point of contact for all people-related matters in South Australia. Reporting to the Operations Manager youll work closely with the National People & Culture team to implement initiatives, providing HR support across strategic, advisory, and operational services at all SA sites. Responsibilities Build trusted relationships with managers and employees. Provide expert HR consultation to align divisional strategies with HR objectives. Manage the full employee lifecycle (talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, training, employee relations and industrial relations - union dealings). Support employee wellbeing and manage change processes. Undertake the effective case management of employee and industrial relations matters Managing employee grievances and disputes, working to resolve issues through mediation, negotiation, or other appropriate methods. Liaise with unions. Implement people strategy initiatives. Manage Work Cover claims, Injury Management and Return to Work. Safety (WHS) experience is beneficial. Skills & Experience Minimum 2-3 years experience in a HR Business Partner role in a mixed workforce ideally in similar industry transport and logistics and unionised environments with exposure to Enterprise Agreements (EAs). Tertiary and/or higher education qualification (certificate/diploma minimum) in HR or related field. Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
