Penrith is growing fast and were looking for a City Marketing Officer whos passionate about storytelling, strategy and shaping perceptions to help us showcase Penrith as a destination to live, work, invest and visit. About the role As part of our dynamic City Marketing team, youll lead and support campaigns that elevate Penriths brand, attract investment and inspire pride in our community. Youll work across digital and traditional platforms, collaborate with internal teams and external agencies and bring fresh ideas to life that drive engagement and deliver measurable results. Youll also support Councils commercial enterprises including Childrens Services and Ripples, with strategic marketing that connects with diverse audiences and delivers real value. What Youll Do Develop and implement city marketing strategies and campaigns Create compelling content for LinkedIn, social media, web and print Produce and edit digital assets using Canva and Adobe Champion Penriths brand across all touchpoints Collaborate with stakeholders to solve marketing challenges Monitor and report on campaign performance and channel effectiveness Stay ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies Contribute to strategic reporting and insights for leadership What Youll Bring Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications with minimum 5 years experience Proven experience delivering impactful city marketing, destination or place marketing campaigns Strong digital content creation skills, including video and social media Ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects A passion for brand storytelling and stakeholder engagement Knowledge of project management and corporate branding Experience in local government A current Class C Drivers Licence Familiarity with WHS, EEO, and governance standards Why Join Us?
