Bede Polding College is seeking a passionate and experienced Leader of Learning TAS (Construction/Timber) to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. This full-time, permanent position includes a 2-point Coordinator allowance and requires demonstrated Stage 6 experience. There is a possibility of an additional 1 Pt Leader of VET available to the right applicant. About the Opportunity As the Leader of Learning TAS (Construction/Timber), you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in teaching and learning within the TAS faculty. You will: Lead the development and delivery of innovative TAS programs, with a focus on Construction and Timber. Demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge and experience in teaching Stage 6 courses. Support and mentor teachers to enhance classroom practice and student engagement. Foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and high standards. Ensure compliance and alignment with NESA requirements and CSPD policies. Integrate technology, differentiation, and effective assessment strategies to maximise student learning. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Education and current NESA Accreditation. Demonstrated experience teaching Stage 6 Construction and Timber. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues. Strong communication and organisational skills. A commitment to ongoing professional growth and the Catholic ethos of the College. A valid Working with Children Check. Please indicate your specific teaching areas in your cover letter.
