About The Role We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist or Administration Officer with experience in the medical industry to join us on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster. Duties And Responsibilities This role will see you working collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical teams, as well as liaising with our 3 Support Offices. You will: Ensure a high level of patient and visitor care, acting as the first point of contact for the hospital Ensure all admission and discharge documentation is accurately recorded Ensure all patient accounts are invoiced, receipted and reconciled Manage theatre bookings and ensure lists are distributed accordingly Manage all health fund and billing matters; payments, refunds and reporting Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital About You You have a genuine passion for providing worldclass customer service and patient care, and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have: Experience in an administrative role within a hospital setting A high level of computer / technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Hospital Patient Management Software. Experience with FYDO or SimDay highly desirable.
