We have multiple vacancies for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in the Avionics or Mechanical trades to join our Hawk LeadIn Fighter program within our Aerospace organisation. As an Avionics or Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible to the Team Leader for carrying out scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance activities across various aircraft platforms. These positions are based at RAAF Base Pearce, WA. Key Responsibilities Be responsible to the Team Leader to carry out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance: Mechanical AMEs: Responsible for hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems, related system components and propellers. Avionic AMEs: Maintain, inspect and undertake fault diagnosis of avionic systems and components on fixed and on rotary wing aircraft. Ensure all tasks are carried out using authorised technical data and in compliance with BAE Systems, Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA), and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements. Identify, report, and elevate defects, maintenance issues, and quality nonconformances as they arise. Action engineering advice, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed. Operate workshop equipment and perform maintenance tasks within delegated authority, upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. About You Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade i.e. Cert IV Aeroskills Avionics or Mechanical (Mandatory). Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance (Mandatory). Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver work within a fastpaced team environment.
