Friendly team culture and a loyal customer base. Tasks & responsibilities Provide professional advice on hair care, suitable styles, and beauty products tailored to client needs. Perform shampooing and scalp conditioning treatments to prepare hair for cutting or styling. Apply hair colouring, chemical straightening, and permanent waving techniques. Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, and razors. Create and maintain styles including dreadlocks, braids, and extensions. Groom and shape beards and moustaches with precision. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and tools, ensuring instruments are properly sanitised. Schedule and manage client appointments, process payments, and maintain customer records. Style, cut, colour, and maintain wigs and hairpieces when required. Assist in managing inventory by determining appropriate product mix and stock levels. Participate in the formulation of purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Qualifications & experience Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification. 1-2 years experience in a salon or barber setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for customer service and staying updated with trends.
