Full Time A global team at Mildura Base Public Hospital is looking for an experienced Paediatrician to join our Staff Specialist group. The Role Provision of clinical leadership ensuring strategic direction, executive and clinical operational management and patientcentred care. Staff Specialist Paediatricians, Nurse Unit Managers and Paediatric nursing staff provide mentoring and support to Doctors in Training and senior medical staff and facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care for children in the Sunraysia District. To be successful in this role, you will have: Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia, or ability to gain registration, as a specialist Paediatrician Sound understanding of professional and legislative requirements in a health care setting Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics and Child Health) or ability to gain Fellowship Evidence of willingness to participate in quality assurance activities A valid Working with Children Check and a National Police Check (undertaken in the last three months) are required. Vaccination and background requirements All health care workers in Victorian public hospitals must be fully vaccinated against Covid19. For those over the age of 18, this means 3 Covid19 vaccinations are required; for those under 18, 2 vaccinations are required.
